Frequently Asked Questions

  • Am I eligible to take this course?
If you are a student in grades 9, 10, or 11, you are eligible to enroll in this course. Students entering or currently in grade 12 may also enroll, but we recommend focusing on college applications during the summer. For international students, those in grades equivalent to 9, 10, and 11 are eligible. While we suggest these grade levels based on the course's difficulty and content, enrollment is ultimately at the student's discretion, even if they do not meet the recommended grade criteria.
  • Can I publish my Capstone project?
Publications in scientific journals require significant depth of research and academic verification. This Capstone project is only meant to familiarize you with parts of the research process, and is inadequate as an entire research project in itself. Often, the work produced by students here will not merit publication in a scientific journal, but we would be happy to feature top projects on our website.
  • What are the timings for this course?
The NFNEU101/102 course is largely self-paced. During the first administration, there may be scheduled synchronous sessions available in your Google Classroom. Attendance at these sessions is optional, and all sessions will be recorded for students who join later. Since the course is self-paced, you can complete it at your own convenience. However, please note that the course ends on August 16th, and all coursework must be completed by that date to receive your certificate.
  • When is the latest I can enroll?
The latest date to enroll is July 13th. The course will close for enrollment after that day and will reopen next summer. Unfortunately, we will not be making any exceptions.
  • How will I receive the certificate?
Upon successful completion of the course before August 16th, you will receive an email with your certificate at the email address you provide on the course registration. If you are unable to complete all course components by August 16th, we will not be able to provide you with a certificate.
